2nd Annual Oktoberfest

It's that time of year! Are you ready for an oompah good time?

Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 28, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., when we will host our 2nd Annual Oktoberfest here at Second Chapter Brewing!

The day will include Food * Music * Beer * Fun.

EVENT ITINERARY:

• 8 a.m. Gates and Will Call open
• 9 a.m. Ceremonial Keg Tapping
• Bier Mile Fun Run, following the keg tapping
• 10 a.m. Nebraska Football Tailgate Party, sponsored by Allo Fiber
• 10:30 a.m. Lunch: Bratwursts & Sauerkraut, Pretzels & Beer Cheese
• 1 p.m. Live Music: Dan Dobson & Vicki Lynn Peters
• 3 p.m. Live Music: Heather Williams
• 4:30 p.m. Dinner: Bratwursts & Sauerkraut, Pretzels & Beer Cheese
• 5:30 p.m. Live Music: Last Chance Band
• Steinhold Competition, Games, Face Painting, & More, all day

Free admission. During the event, food, drink, and commemorative merchandise will be available by purchasing tokens.

We will be featuring German-style beers made right here at Second Chapter Brewing: 

• Bavarian Brothers (German Pils)
• Mary's Märzen (Märzen Oktoberfest)
• Griffins' Nectar (Hefeweizen)

FOOD: 

• Bratwursts and Sauerkraut, by Main Street Meats
• Bavarian Pretzels and Beer Cheese Sauce, by Bittersweet Bakery
• Spent Grain Snacks

MERCHANDISE:

• Commemorative .5L glass steins and Commemorative t-shirts are available for sale now in our online shop. They will also be available for purchase at the event, while supplies last. (You may bring your stein from last year)
• Receive a Commemorative Second Chapter Brewing plastic stadium cup with any beer purchase
• Receive a Commemorative Oktoberfest plastic stein with any root beer purchase. 
• Commemorative Oktoberfest T-shirts are available for sale now in our online shop. ​(Sizes may be preordered online; sizes at the gate are first come first served)

OTHER DETAILS & FESTIVAL RULES:

• Free admission
• All ages welcome
• Purchase tokens for food and drink
• No outside food
• No outside beverages
• No pets please
• Valid 21+ ID required for wristband to consume alcohol

Pre-purchase tokens, merchandise, and race registrations in our  online shop. Pre-purchased items will be available for pick-up at Will Call on Saturday, starting at 8:00 a.m. Items also will be available to purchase on Saturday, starting at 8:00 a.m., while supplies last.
