What an incredible time we had at our St. Patrick’s Celebration at the brewery! From the lively atmosphere to the amazing company, it truly was a day to remember.

Thank you to Chris Laflan for helping with our official keg tapping this morning, and congratulations to our Bier Mile Fun Run winners.

Zeb Peterson took the crown for the men's race, finishing the 1.2-mile course and three German beers faster than all the rest. And, Steph Miller narrowly edged out Second Chapter's own Nicole Hull. Nicole came in the gate first, but Steph was able to finish her Märzen in top speed.

All day long, the beer was flowing, the smoker was turning out some delicious brats, the Huskers were playing (and winning!), the taproom was hopping, and the music was grooving. 

Our Steinhold Competition was won by the steady arms of Shad and Rochelle. In the Best Dressed, Carrie Dodson and Shad Burnside took the crown.

Chocolate Raspberry Oatmeal Porter

This Valentine's Day, treat your sweetheart (or, treat yourself!) to our limited seasonal release: the Chocolate Raspberry Oatmeal Porter. We only made ONE keg of this rich, flavorful, and balanced variation of our delicious Overdue Oatmeal Porter. We are releasing it on February 14, just in time for your date night.

Today is National Pizza Day! Come celebrate with Shome Slice Pizza at Second Chapter Brewing from 5-8 p.m.

​This is Chris and Holly Cornelius' first jaunt with a commercial pizza truck, so we wanted to share a bit more about them:

"We believe that a delicious pizza is the result of simple ingredients used well. The secret to our NY-style crust is the second bake. That gives it the perfect crunch and the perfect bite. We also believe in supporting our communities, so any tips received will go towards an organization in the community we are serving in. This Friday, any tips received will be donated to Pathways/WRC in Ogallala."

Make sure you have dancing shoes to match your costume since we'll have a live DJ and prizes.

Come hungry as the Raging Rhino Catering at Second Chapter Brewing food truck will be on site all day Friday and Saturday 10/27-10/28.

We'll be open Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. as usual. DJ Luis (LJ Music & Audio) starts the party at 7pm. Only 21+ beyond that time, please.
